Medieval Ilok Fortress
0The easternmost settlement in Croatia, small Slavonian town Ilok, is a place of rich history and cultural heritage. The monumental remains of medieval Ilok fortification, among other, witness of this. Apart from sumptuous and quality construction, in accordance to contemporary European artistic streams, it also reveals facts about its owners. The most notable of them was Nikola Iločki, after whom Ilok is rightfully called a royal town.

St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague
4The catehdral of St. Vitus in Prague is one of the most monumental cathedrals in Central Europe. Although primarily built in gothic style, this cathedral clearly displays a mixture of styles, from gothic, renaissance, baroque to even neo-gothic of the 19th century. The cathedral was finally completed in the 20th century.
